Car Show Rules

These will be the observed
"Carolina Motor Madness Car Show"

Car Show Rules

  • Maintaining "Safety and Integrity" of the competition is the highest priority.
  • Exhibitor's vehicle must be registered during the designated registration times unless pre-registered.
  • The Owner/Exhibitor will classify their vehicles in accordance with the eligible available classes. Subject to change by the judges if inapproiately classified.
  • Exhibitor's Registration forms will be clearly displayed on the show vehicle drivers side windshield. Vehicles WITHOUT registration forms will not be judged.
  • Judging will be based on the INTERNATIONAL SHOW CAR ASSOCIATION (ISCA) judging standards. Please see the judging sheets for further information. All Show vehicles will be judged with attention to detail, cleanliness, and appearance. Judging will be fair and impartial. The winner of “Best-of-Show” is not eligible for any other awards.
  • Car Show Awards will consist of Winners in all classes judged in addition to Tega Cay Lions Club Presidents Choice, Best-in-Show, Best Engine, Best Paint and Best Interior.
  • Judges "must" have access to all areas of the show vehicle, to include the trunk, interior and engine compartment. The judges WILL NOT open any of these areas for evaluation.
  • It is recommended you be available to the judges during the time your vehicle is being evaluated, however it is NOT required you speak with the judges unless he/she requests it.
  • The Car Show Judges decisions are final. Revisions WILL NOT be made to any score sheets. Tie-Breakers will be made by the judges after a short revaluation (re-inspection if needed) of details.
  • Divisions and/or Classes may vary to meet the Car Show Needs. Convertibles may choose to have their tops up or down with boot installed.
  • It is the exhibitors "right" to file a formal dispute/protest of any score or question any award. This formal protest must be made within twenty-four after the shows conclusion.  Additionally, any exhibitor may request a copy of their own score sheet from the Host of the Car Show no sooner than forty-eight hours after the shows conclusion.
  • All vehicles must remain in the show area during the event hours or once the award ceremony is concluded. WINNERS MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN AWARDS. If you leave early from the event, you will forfeit your position, entry fee and award for your class show.
